A weekend of world class performance buskers - acro strength, juggling, comedy, balance, high jinks and more!

Orewa Community Centre (am shows). 
Moana Reserve (pm shows).
All performer showcase evening show on Saturday night - even more energy and skills ! Moana Carpark, adjacent Muldoons Bar. Bring a chair or a blanket, some sunscreen and dollars for their hats, and settle in for the day. Free circus skills workshop, Sunday afternoon.

The Orewa Artsian Market will also be taking place on Saturday and Sunday mornings, outside the community centre.

A large scale beachside 'street fiesta' comprising:

HIBISCUS COAST ORCHID SOCIETY

The Hibiscus Coast Orchid Society meets on the second Sunday of every month (except January) with meetings starting at 1.30 pm and usually lasting a couple of hours.

The meetings always include a guest speaker, raffles and a cuppa, along with the usual club business. Visitors are always welcome. If you decide you would like to become a member the cost is $15.00 single membership or $20.00 family of two. We meet at the Masonic Hall, Centreway Road, Orewa. $2.00 door fee. SING ME UP COMMUNITY SING-A-LONG 

at the Orewa Sea Scout Hall (north end of the beach) from 7pm till 9 (tea break in the middle). Non auditioned, open to shower warblers and closet crooners or anyone who wants to make noise. No music theory needed, and contrary to popular belief, most people CAN sing!!  You will be singing in harmony in minutes. The health benefits are huge, wonderful community, come and try us out. We are different from a traditional choir and sing world, gospel, folk, pop and trad. Also, we can bring along any ride on bikes, tricycles and scooters to enjoy riding on inside. If it is just too rainy and stormy then we will stay inside.

Let's Play Orewa is a fun community playgroup, in Orewa, for children, aged 2 to 6 years old, and their parents/caregivers to enjoy together.

Fortnightly on Fridays, during the school terms, 10:00am to 11:30am, at the Hibiscus Coast Community House, 216 HBC Highway (the old corner site), Orewa. April 24, May 8, 22, June 5, 19, July 3 
Cost: a gold coin donation.

At Let's Play Orewa we encourage young children (3 to 5 years old) to explore process art, music + movement and shared stories alongside interested parents/caregivers who actively engage in the programme while interacting with their children.

We also enjoy a morning tea together.
The limit is 10 children, each accompanied by an adult.
