Holiday Skateboard Programme,  9am

Orewa College, Orewa. 

Our Summer school holiday skateboard programme. If you are looking to learn how to ride a skateboard or just wanting to learn new tricks, this programme is for you. Our professional instructors will be on hand to assist you. All skateboards, helmets, safety pads and portable ramps will be provided on the day.

Programme is suitable for children aged 6 - 12 years. Registrations are now open at our website.

Main draw held as woon as all QUick Fire Raffles ar sold. Kids entertainment includes: Kruzin Kids go carts, bouncy castles, face painting, coconut shy, splat the rat, poppy the clown.  Food includes: sausage sizzle, bacon butties, ice creams, fronzen ices, coffee, donuts, candy floss and more. In conjunction with the Boulevard of Buskers, the twilight market will take place from 5pm-9pm in Orewa Square (on the corner of Florence Ave & Hibiscus Coast Highway).

This festival is interactive, spontaneous, visually enticing, colourful and bursting with the unexpected. There will be something for everyone: juggling with comedy and interaction, hilarious and wacky shows, sword swallowing, acrobatics to thrill everyone, for all that laughter and amazement.

Orewa once again celebrates summer with a festival and market day throughout the entire town centre. Full road closures along Hibiscus Coast Highway between Florence Ave to Moenui Ave so you can enjoy an amazing family event by the beach - organized by Destination Orewa Beach and My Markets. 
Great shopping, over 100 craft and food stalls, art exhibitions and Wine Growers, amusement rides for thrill seekers and little ones. The main stage will feature live continuous entertainment and music throughout the day, including Yulia.

Orewa Beach is gearing up for a beachfront party, join in the fun with an attracted and estimated crowd of 15,000!

A fun day out for the whole family.

Register to partake in the sand castle competition - absolute beginners, experienced and professional builders are all welcome.

20 tonne professional sand masterpiece will be 'sculpted' for 2 days prior to the event and on the day itself to add the wow factor.

There will be children's entertainment and family activities including good old fashioned beach games likesack races and egg and spoon races, with spot prizes throughout the day.

The Hibiscus Coast Orchid Society meets on the second Sunday of every month (except January) with meetings starting at 1.30 pm and usually lasting a couple of hours.
