There are over 330 volunteers working for our City Mission in Op shops
and the foodbank and over 150 volunteers working for Howick Healthcare
delivering Meals on Wheels, helping with morning tea, bus driving,
flowers, sewing, day care and transport.
For example Marie, a volunteer
for a City Mission Op shop in Orewa has been volunteering 24 hours a
week for four years. She believes that volunteers are a great force
for good in New Zealand.
The
proceeds from the Mission Opportunity Shops support the work of the
Mission and also help to support:
